- Arriving
- Any time after 2pm. If you are coming later than 8pm, let us know and we will leave a light on and a key out.
- Leaving
- 10am, though nobody has ever been hurried out the door.
- Minimum stay
- Two nights from December to March, and over long weekends. One night is fine the rest of the year.
- Paying
- Bank transfer or card on arrival. We take a one-night deposit for summer bookings, refundable up to a fortnight out.
- Cancelling
- Full refund with seven days’ notice. Inside that, we will try to re-let the room and refund whatever we can. We are not going to be difficult about a family emergency.
- Children
- Very welcome. The Garden Room takes two singles. We have a travel cot and a high chair.
- Dogs
- Sorry — Barnaby was here first and holds strong views.
- Dietary things
- Tell us when you book. Vegetarian and gluten free are no trouble at all.
- Accessibility
- Honest answer: the cottage is 1878, there are three steps to the front door and the hallway is narrow. The Garden Room is on the flat once you are inside. Ring us and we will describe it properly rather than overpromise.
